Yesterday, Corbin turned 4 months. Today we had his 4 month check up. Which also meant shots. I hate it when they have to get shots!! But here's the break down of Corbin:
Weight: 15.1 lbs
Height: 25 inches
Diapers: size 2
Clothes: still in 3 month. 3-6 is a tad too big on him
Eating: still nursing, although its stressful sometimes. Bottle feeding is sometimes easier, but I'm sticking with it. For a couple weeks, he was eating every 2-2.5 hours, which was like having a newborn again. Now he's back at 3-4 hours.
Sleep: 11 broken hours at night, hour-hour 1/2 naps 3-4 times a day and little cat naps between.
Misc: he talks ALL the time and is SO loud!! It's hilarious! He is seriously smiling all the time. He's an extremely happy baby. He's rolling from stomach to back. Likes to stand up with us holding him. Sits well on our laps. He loves to be held facing out so he can see what's going on. He's grabbing at his toys while on his play mat or if we hold a toy in front of him. He likes to hold one of my fingers as he's going to sleep, which I love! He sits in his bumbo while we eat meals at the table, while I'm getting ready, or doing stuff in the kitchen. And laughing...oh my goodness, it is so sweet!!! I love when he belly laughs and squeals! It's great!!
I like to compare height/weight between Colton and Corbin. Except for when Corbin was born, Colton has weighed more than him at all of the appts. For Colton's 4 month appt, he weighed 16.3, but their length was the exact same.
Corbin loves to watch his big brother. And he always smiles or laughs when Colton cries. Haha! I'm sure there will be more of that as they get older. Colton seems more used to Corbin as if he's always been here.
It seems as though we've always had 2 kids. It's hard to remember what it was like without Corbin. They are both such a blessing and I love every minute I get to spend with them. They're both growing so fast! I'm so incredibly thankful to be able to stay home with them, even if some days I want to pull my hair out. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Here's a couple pictures of our 4 month old...one is of his chunky legs. So funny and cute!

Snow day
Well in typical Oklahoma fashion...we were at the park a few days ago playing and today it's snowing. Go figure! The boys and I woke up to rain then it quickly turned into snow. Huge flakes! So we watched Peter Pan, ate lunch, painted and now both boys are down for naps. (I'm contemplating the same)

Breckenridge part 3
Sunday was pretty much just like Saturday. Everyone got up, went skiing, and my mom, Sami and I took the boys shopping. Colton was more comfortable in his surroundings, which was great!
After everyone got done skiing, we hurried to ride on the gondola. Oh my goodness...Colton's face lit up!! He absolutely LOVED it!!! Too bad we didn't do that Saturday too, but oh well. It was so pretty going on the gondola WAY up the mountain and seeing everything around. Gorgeous!!
We rode that until it closed then went back to our room. We made dinner, then Adam and I decided to pack up all of our stuff so we could leave really early the next morning. Seriously, packing for us and the kids is like taking our whole house. SO much stuff!!!
We got up Monday morning and were on the road by 5:15. We ended up making it home in 12 hours. Which was awesome with both kids! Yes, I sat between the car seats, a good part of the drive but I'm so glad we did it in one day.
All in all, it was a great trip and I hope we get to go back soon!!! The mountains were so beautiful!!

Park day!
We have had some gorgeous weather lately!! Earlier this afternoon, we my mom and I decided to take the boys to the park.
We have to take advantage of this awesome weather in early February, while we can! Who knows when it will turn cold again. Although, the rest of this week looks pretty nice! Even Corbin loved his stroll outside. On our way back from the park, he decided to go to sleep.

Breckenridge part 2
Adam and I got up Saturday morning and started making breakfast. My mom and I split the meals for the trip, so breakfast was our turn. Saturday was the first day of skiing for everyone. I didn't ski because Colton was very out of his comfort zone and I wasn't going to leave my mom with an extremely fussy 2 year old. Don, Mallory and Maddie had ski lessons for the morning and everyone else just hit the slopes. Sami ended up coming back in after an hour due to pretty bad muscle pain. So me, my mom, Sami and the boys went out to explore. We walked and in some stores, then stopped at this cute little bakery for some lunch. They had sandwiches, soups, quiche and of course pastries. Let me just say that the soup I got was outstanding!!!
Anyway, we went back to our room after lunch and shortly after, everyone came back to eat. Everyone was having a great time! The beginners were doing awesome! After everyone went back out, I put the kids down for a nap and relaxed. It was great to relax there and stare out the windows at the beautiful mountains!
That evening, everyone came back sore and tired. We had lasagna and salad and hung out. A little later, Adam, Sami, matt, Shea and I, went out for a couple drinks. It took forever to find a place where we could actually sit! But we ended up right by our hotel. It was fun to hang out and chat. We didn't stay long due to a fussy baby, but it was still fun to go out.
We headed back and hung out with everyone. Then off to bed we went. Everyone was ready to take on the mountains again!

Breckenridge pt 1
We left for Colorado Thursday morning around 930. Our goal was to get to Denver and finish the drive Friday. The boys did seriously awesome and we made it to Denver, got a hotel and let the boys stretch out.
Friday morning, we got up, got ready and met up with the rest of my family. They got a later start on Thursday and got to Denver pretty late Thursday night. The drive from Denver was pretty short and once we saw the mountains, we were in awe! It was absolutely gorgeous!!!
We got to our room, which was more like an apartment...3 bedroom, 3 bath, living and kitchen. The view from our balcony was gorgeous as well. I could just stare at it all the time. Beautiful!! Anyway, we all decided we were hungry, so we walked to a place called Eric's. It was a pretty neat little restaurant and really good!!! Adam and I both got their meatball sub and it was pretty tasty. After lunch, my cousin, Sami was about to meet us there, so we all headed back and we put the kiddos down for a nap. When they were napping, everyone went to get their ski rentals and lift tickets, Sami and I got the chili going for dinner and had a glass of wine whole we chatted.
That afternoon, after everyone got back, we decided to go snow tubing. Snow tubing was about 15 min away from where we were staying. We got all bundled up and hopped in the car. We only had about an hour to snow tube before they closed, but that was enough. My mom started inside with Corbin for a while and Adam and I took Colton up the hill. He started out loving the tube! Adam was pulling him around and he had the biggest smile on his face. Soooo we were able to all hold on to each others tubes and go together. It started out great and Colton LOVED it. Then it got rough and he was bounced down in his tube and couldn't get back up. I could see the fear in his eyes and my heart just broke for him because I knew he was so scared. We got to the bottom and he started calling for dad. Adam got him out and he did NOT want to get back in it. Poor guy! I felt so bad for him!! After that, Adam stayed at the bottom with Colton while I went up with Sami and Maddie. Snow tubing was a lot of fun!! I wish I had more pictures of it.
We got back from tubing and ate chili and just hung out and relaxed. The next day was a big one for everyone! Some first time skiers! Sami ended up bringing a twin blow up mattress and putting it in our closet, which was hilarious!!
I'll be back with more of our trip. This is already getting lengthy.
