One

I can't believe I forgot to do Corbin's ONE year post!

Well our sweet, independent, vocal, determined little boy, turned one. One year ago, we were getting used to being a family of four and getting to know Corbin. We thought Corbin would be a lot like his brother. We were so very wrong. Corbin is different than his big brother...he is very determined, curious, independent and very much his own person. Here are his one year stats...

Weight: 20 lbs 11 oz (25%)
Height: 30 1/4 inches (75%)
Head: 47 cm (75%)
Diapers: size 3
Clothes: 12 month
Food: he eats mostly what we eat and has a great appetite. He's also on whole milk now.
Dislikes: washing his hair, getting hair cuts, when mom or dad leave without him, toys/items being taken away, diaper changes, pasta

He tries so hard to keep up with big brother! He signs for "more", says dada, uh oh and sometimes mama. The boy LOVED rock (old or new) music and dancing to it. Loves his dog, Tucker. He has 4 teeth, but more are on the way. He's so sweet and cuddles when he wants to. Otherwise, he wants to do his own thing. He really likes cars with sirens and mimics the noise. Absolutely loves water and his water bottle. When he's uncomfortable or doesn't like something, he will make it known. He has a fake cry down pat!

Right now we're trying to get him transitioned from a bottle to a sippy cup and he's not liking it at all! Maybe we just haven't found the right sippy for him? He loves to hold my hand while going to sleep...especially in the car. Which can sometimes be tricky, if I'm driving.

It's hard to believe its only been with us for a year. I feel like he's always been apart of our family, yet, he's just a little guy. I love his sweet smile and his kind eyes. There's no greater joy than being a mom. I couldn't imagine being anyone else's mom. Colton and Corbin are such a blessing and I love them more than they will ever know. We can't wait to watch Corbin grow this next year! These years are going by so fast but they're so fun!
